FAQs

We have addressed some FAQs below. If your question isn't there please email us on scottandlauren2025@gmail.com

While we have tried to include all the information needed please let us know if there is something we have missed!

Is there a dress code?

We ask men to wear a suit and ladies to wear a dress or jumpsuit.

Ladies, if you would like to wear a hat please feel free to.

We would love this to be an excuse for you to get dressed up!

Formal attire is encouraged.

When should I RSVP by?

While we know we are all busy we would appreciate prompt RSVPs.

Please RSVP by 16th March 2025 at the latest.

Transport from the church to the venue

Once we have said "I do" we will be making the short 20 minute drive from the church.

If you are not driving to the church please let us know so we can do our best to find you a spot in a car.

Alternatively we would suggest pre-booking a taxi as Ubers can take a while out in the sticks!

Local taxi company:
Clock Tower Cars

Is there parking?

There is plenty of free parking at both the church and the venue

Will the wedding be indoors?

Yes! There will be access to terraces at the venue but the ceremony and wedding breakfast are indoors.

Is there accommodation?

There is accommodation at the venue, please let us know if you wish to book this when you RSVP as we are able to arrange a discounted room rate.

Other accommodation options:
Thatchers' Hotel
Travelodge - Dorking

Can I bring a plus one or my children?

Due to numbers those invited are named on your invitation.

We would love to be able to welcome everyone's partners and children on the day however we are limited on numbers.

Can you cater for allergies?

Please let us know of any allergies or preferences such as vegetarian, vegan or halal when you RSVP.

The more detail you give us the better!

What time will the wedding reception end

We ask you to organise transport home if you aren't staying at the venue at midnight or before.

When can I check-in to my room?

If you are staying at the venue you will be able to check in between the ceremony and the wedding reception.

Don't worry, you won't miss out! We have allowed time for this to happen during the champagne reception.

Can I take photos at the wedding?

While we would like the ceremony to be "unplugged" we would love you to take as many pictures as you want after we have said "I do"!

We do have a professional photographer and videographer so if you could be mindful not to be in their way we would appreciate that.
